Norovirus Symptoms

Know the Symptoms of Norovirus and Prevent Others from Falling Ill

Norovirus symptoms usually appear within 24-48 hours after ingesting the virus, but can begin after just 12 hours. Symptoms usually last 1-2 days. Read more about norovirus. The principal symptoms of norovirus are:
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting and/or
  • Fever
  • Abdominal cramps
  • Nausea

Note:

  • Those who are suffering from norovirus or suspect they are should avoid handling food or being in close contact with people for at least 72 hours after norovirus symptoms go away.
